Repeated attacks by rogue herdsmen result in high levels of insecurity in communities in Ibarapa LGA necessitates a need for high physical security measures for travellers intending to visit such areas.

Villages such as Igboora, Igangan and Idiyan have recorded heightened reports of attack by criminal elements suspected to be rogue herdsmen during this period.

Criminal activity has been recorded at high levels within the state capital as well, and close protection officers may be required to ensure the safety of high profile travellers.

Night-time travel within this state is not advised, and in remote areas of the state, government security forces (GSF) support may be required to safeguard business travellers.

A drilled journey management plan is advised for travel to remote border communities, particularly towards the northern axis of the state, and general travel should be conducted between the times of 0800hrs-1700hrs.
