4.0-litre V8 biturbo supersedes previous 5.5‑litre V8 biturbo. The advantage: 20 kW higher output than its predecessor, with lower consumption. Sophisticated technology with twin-scroll turbochargers for greater output and torque plus cylinder deactivation for lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in the partial-load range. 612 hp output | 900 Nm maximum torque

S 65

Spearheading the S-Class: 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine. 630 hp output | 1000 Nm maximum torque

AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission supersedes AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7‑speed transmission

AMG sports suspension based on MAGIC BODY CONTROL with curve inclination function in “Curve” drive program and ideal balance as a result of active adjustment – the stereo camera can recognise bumps in the road ahead and adjust the damping as a precaution. Handling can be adjusted via five different drive programs – Individual, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Curve
