Lamborghini Super Veloce Models: See Every V12 Model That Wore The Iconic “SV” Badge
Miura SV
After years away, Lamborghini’s iconic Super “SV” nameplate has made a dramatic comeback, returning in spectacular fashion on the new Revuelto SV, whose production will be limited to just 1,963 examples worldwide as a tribute to the year the Italian marque was founded.
First introduced 55 years ago in 1971 on the Miura SV, the “SV” badge, which stands for Super Veloce (Super Fast), has represented greater performance, enhanced dynamics, lightweight engineering, exclusivity and a more emotional driving experience.

Limited to just 150 units, the Miura SV established the blueprint for what the “SV” performance badge would become. It was later revived in 1995 for the Diablo SV, which was produced in 346 units, followed by the Murciélago LP 670-4 SV in 2009 and the Aventador SV in 2015.
The Murciélago LP 670-4 SV was limited to 350 coupes and 50 roadsters, while the Aventador SV was capped at 600 units. Featuring naturally aspirated V12 engines, all four limited-edition Lamborghini Super Veloce models before the Revuelto SV became sharper and more extreme interpretations of their respective V12 flagships.

“For 55 years, the letters SV have represented an important expression of Lamborghini’s V12 philosophy,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini Chairman and CEO, while describing the significance of the legendary badge.
Now carrying the iconic letters is the Revuelto SV, the first Super Veloce model with a hybrid-electric powertrain. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of more than 1,015 hp.

This hybrid-electric powertrain enables the Revuelto SV to reach a top speed of more than 345 km/h (214 mph), making the “most extreme interpretation of the Revuelto” the most powerful and fastest production Lamborghini ever built.
“With Revuelto SV, this philosophy enters a new era, combining the unmistakable emotion of Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated V12 with electrification and advanced vehicle dynamics,” said Federico Foschini, Lamborghini’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, describing the Revuelto SV as a car created for the brand’s most passionate collectors and drivers.
