Peugeot RCZ Vision Debuts As 500-HP Electric Sports Coupé With 600 km Range, 10-Minute Charging

Peugeot has unveiled the RCZ Vision, an all-electric sports coupé concept that redefines the French automaker’s design language, known as “Feline Future”, while previewing its future design direction and electric vehicle technology.
Inspired by the original Peugeot RCZ, produced between 2009 and 2015, the concept is built on an architecture based on the STLA One platform. It combines a 500-horsepower powertrain with a claimed driving range of up to 600 km (373 miles) and also showcases Level 2++ automated-driving capabilities.

The RCZ Vision introduces Peugeot’s “Feline Future” design language, which defines its low-slung body, glass-bubble-style roof, sculpted shoulders, slim LED lighting and active rear spoiler, which deploys while driving to optimise aerodynamics.
The concept features a 110 mm solid-state battery developed in collaboration with Factorial Energy. It works with a 1,000-volt electrical architecture and enables charging from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes. Peugeot targets energy consumption of just 11.5 kWh/100 km.

The concept also previews a new-generation Peugeot i-Cockpit, which combines the Hypersquare steering control with transparent Micro LED displays and is set to debut in the next-generation Peugeot E-208. It also features steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire technologies, the latter being a first for the brand.
The four-seat cabin combines a futuristic layout with lightweight materials, including recycled leather and Alcantara trim. According to Peugeot, the rear seatbacks can be folded down to increase luggage space, while the rear seats can comfortably accommodate two adults.

Although the RCZ Vision is not yet a confirmed production model, it offers a glimpse of how Peugeot intends to combine electrification and driver-focused technology in future vehicles. The French marque describes it as “the most advanced vision yet of PEUGEOT’s future”.
“With Peugeot RCZ Vision, we are setting out our vision with a car firmly focused on the future, dedicated to delivering the ultimate driving pleasure. With emotion at its heart, this manifesto embodies the boldness of Peugeot and shows that design and technology can work together seamlessly,” said Alain Favey, CEO of Peugeot.
