All-New 2027 Hyundai Tucson Unveiled With Bolder Design, Hybrid Power And New Tech

Hyundai Motor has taken the wraps off the all-new 2027 Hyundai TUCSON, introducing the completely redesigned fifth generation of its best-selling SUV, which combines a bolder appearance with improved performance, electrification and next-generation technology.
The new TUCSON adopts Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” design philosophy, giving it a more muscular appearance and commanding road presence. Its tech-forward interior is highlighted by a double D-cut steering wheel that pairs with a 9.9-inch slim display above the steering column.

Compared with the previous model, the long-wheelbase version measures 4,700 mm in length (+60 mm), 1,905 mm in width (+40 mm), and 1,685 mm in height (+20 mm), while ground clearance stands at 180 mm, increasing to 210 mm on the rugged TUCSON XRT PRO.

The redesigned front features a new grille and distinctive lighting elements that create a more commanding road presence, while the rear features sculptural 3D floating lamps and Hyundai’s signature Micro Pixel Lighting with 25,600 individual LED pixels.
Inside, the new TUCSON gets a redesigned dashboard, a column-mounted shift-by-wire selector and dual 15-watt wireless charging pads. Buyers can get a 9.9-inch driver display and either a 12.9-inch or a massive 17-inch central touchscreen, depending on the specification.

The new TUCSON offers several powertrain choices depending on the market, including a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing up to 184 hp. A new hybrid system targets up to 42 mpg, while the plug-in hybrid model offers an estimated 81-km electric range in markets where it is available.
For adventure-focused buyers, the TUCSON XRT PRO, built for outdoor adventures, adds all-wheel drive, all-terrain tyres, a 30-mm increase in ground clearance over the standard model, front recovery hooks and Smart Terrain Assist.

“Millions of families around the world count on the Hyundai TUCSON, and this is the best one we have ever built,” said José Muñoz, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor.
Hyundai has not yet announced official pricing for the all-new 2027 TUCSON. The latest generation of its best-selling SUV will launch in South Korea later in 2026, followed by North America, Europe and other global markets in 2027. Pricing will therefore depend on the market, powertrain and trim level.
