Police in Lagos recover unoccupied Mercedes-Benz GL 450 SUV under Otedola Bridge at 10pm on Monday.
Lagos State Police Command says driver missing and vehicle engine was running at the time of recovery.
According to the Lagos Police Command, decoy team has commenced a preliminary investigations.
Urge anyone with useful information about the car owner to visit the RRS headquarters, Alausa immediately.
The Lagos State Police Command has announced the recovery of a white unoccupied Mercedes-Benz GL 450 SUV with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under the Otedola Bridge in Lagos.
In a Twitter post on Tuesday, the police said that the SUV was recovered by its patrol team at 10pm on Monday. The tweet further revealed that the engine of the unoccupied vehicle was running at the time of recovery.
“Our patrol team at about 10:00 p.m. yesterday recovered an SUV, 4matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola bridge.
“The car’s engine was running and driver’s side door opened with no occupant. In the car were travelling bags and laptop.
According to the police, decoy team has commenced a preliminary investigations while anyone with useful information about the car owner are urged to visit the RRS headquarters, Alausa immediately.
“The Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed the decoy team to commence preliminary investigation immediately.
“Whoever has information about the owner of the vehicle should kindly contact RRS HQ, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.”
