Jeep Launches A Military Styled Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41
Jeep has unveiled an exciting new edition of the Wrangler that embodies a nostalgic charm. The Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 is crafted on the foundation of the plug-in hybrid model and serves as a homage to the iconic military vehicle that has captured the hearts of enthusiasts for decades. With its rugged design elements and modern technology, this model seamlessly blends the classic spirit of the original with eco-friendly innovations, making it a perfect choice for both adventure seekers and history buffs alike.
It’s offered only with this military olive paint harkening back to the Willys MB. Jeep even painted the 17-inch alloys, which are fitted with 33-inch all-terrain tires as standard. Army-inspired decals in Drab Blue take after those used by its forebearer during World War II.
The Willys ’41 edition comes exclusively with Jeep’s 4xe plug-in-hybrid powertrain, which pairs a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four with two electric motors. The setup produces 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque and can also propel the Wrangler on electric power alone for 21 miles
All of these retro details mimic the look of the ’41 Wrangler-based concept that was revealed in 2022 during the Jeep Easter Safari event. The ’41 Wrangler 4xe Willys is available with a body-colour hardtop, power-sliding soft-top, or convertible soft-top in tan exclusively for this special edition. Steel fenders are included as standard equipment.
The interior features brown cloth seats, a shift knob with a “41” logo, and olive cloth accents on the dash.
