Dangote retained his position as Africa’s richest person for eight consecutive years, according to Forbes Magazine. 

He owns an armored Mercedes-Benz G-Class. He is rumored to own a Bugatti Veyron worth over $2.3 million and a Maybach 57S. 





Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the President/Chief Executive of the Dangote Group, has retained his position as Africa’s richest person for eight consecutive years, according to Forbes Magazine’s latest comprehensive list of the world’s billionaires for 2023.

According Forbes 2023 Billionaires list released on Tuesday, Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s wealth is estimated to be around $14.2 billion as at when the reports was released on Tuesday.

The 65 year old Nigerian business magnate, investor and philanthropist is presently the 125th richest man in the world.

Luxury Cars

Just like any other wealthy people around the world, Dangote owns a fleet of expensive cars, a Bombardier’s Global Express XRS private jet as well as customized luxury Yacht he named after his mum.





Dangote is rumored to own a Bugatti Veyron worth over $2.3 million and a Maybach 57S Knight Luxury — though the billionaire businessman has never been snapped with any of cars mentioned above.

But Autojosh can authoritatively say that Dangote owns and still rides a Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV (G-Wagon), which his godson, music star David Adeleke ‘Davido’, confirmed to be a 2015 model in a recent interview.

Recall that Dangote personally drove himself in his armored Mercedes-Benz G-Class when he paid Pastor Ituah Ighodalo a condolence visit in June 2020, following the demise of his wife.

Yacht

The President of Dangote Group also owns a luxury Yacht he took delivery of in 2013. According to Shipsandports, the heavily customized yacht, christened Mariya, cost a mouth watering $43 millIon (₦19.99 billion Nigerian Naira).
