Jaguar Land Rover recalls 5 Range Rover Sport in the U.S that were mistakenly equipped with Euro-spec taillights.

Range Rover Sport equipped with Euro-spec taillights flashes amber, as opposed to red for the United States market.

Affected vehicles produced at the Solihull assembly plant in UK betw. July 22, 2022 and November 3, 2022 were affected.

To resolve the problem, dealers will replaced the Euro-spec rear turn signals (taillights) with a U.S.-spec units.

Jaguar Land Rover is recalling certain 2023 model Range Rover Sport sports utility vehicles (SUVs) in the United States of America that have been mistakenly equipped with the wrong taillights.

The affected British-made luxury SUVs were equipped with an Euro-spec rear turn signals, which flashes amber, as opposed to red for the United States market. In addition to the wrong taillights, the brake lights may not illuminate correctly.

The automaker claims the amber turn signals don’t meet NHTSA safety standards as it could make it more difficult for other road users to see the rear of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.





A total of five (5) 2023 model Range Rover Sport produced at the Solihull assembly plant in the United Kingdom between July 22, 2022 and November 3, 2022 were affected.

Jaguar Land Rover isn’t aware of any crashes or injuries related to the issues. Owner notification letters will be sent on or before June 2, 2023. To resolve the problem, dealers will replaced the Euro-spec rear turn signals with a U.S.-spec units.

The new 2023 Range Rover Sport SUV is available in 6 trims, including the base P360 SE and P400 SE Dynamic that cost $83,000 and $90,000 respectively. A plug-in hybrid in Autobiography trim goes for $104,200, while the P530 First Edition, which comes with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 engine, retails for $121,500.
