9 Coolest Cars Unveiled At The Quail: From Bugatti Destrier to Lamborghini Revuelto SV

The record-shattering $747.9 million in sales at the Monterey Car Week auctions might have cast a massive shadow over some of the world’s most spectacular new production cars, one-offs, and hypercars that made their global debuts during the three-day Motorsports Gathering.

With eye-watering, headline-making sales like the $40 million 2026 Ferrari Luce ‘Tailor Made’ “Chassis 0,” the $42.9 million Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, and the $34.655 million McLaren F1 GTR dominating the global media spotlight, it was easy to get blinded by the hammer prices.

So, if you were too distracted by the multi-million-dollar auction blocks to notice the staggering array of cutting-edge hypercars and ultra-exclusive, coachbuilt masterpieces that made their groundbreaking debuts at The Quail, here are nine of the finest.

1. Bugatti Destrier

The Bugatti Destrier made its first public debut at the event. It is based on the track-only Bolide, making it Bugatti’s third masterpiece from its ultra-exclusive Programme Solitaire. The hypercar is named after the prized and powerful warhorse once ridden by medieval knights in battle.

2. Aston Martin Valen

Also making its first public debut is the all-new Valen, the third limited-production V12 special created by its in-house bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin. With 838 horsepower, the Valen is the world’s most powerful front-engined production car.

3. Lamborghini Revuelto SV

Based on the standard Revuelto, the latest V12 Super Veloce delivers 1,015 hp, making it the most powerful and fastest production Lamborghini ever built. Production is limited to just 1,963 examples worldwide—a tribute to the year the brand was founded.

4. Ferrari CZ26

Another head-turner is the all-new CZ26, a one-off masterpiece designed by the Flavio Manzoni-led Ferrari Design team and developed for an unnamed, wealthy American client. It is built on the top-of-the-range SF90 Stradale platform.

5. GMSV S1

Positioned as the true spiritual successor to the McLaren F1, the Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV) S1 is an ultra-exclusive, road-going version of the track-only S1 LM that debuted at Monterey in 2025. The production run is strictly limited to 64 examples globally.

6. Porsche 911 GT2 RS Flachbau RS

The 911 GT2 RS Flachbau RS is a one-of-one factory restomod commissioned by a private collector through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch (Special Request) department. It is a road-legal, modern tribute to the legendary 1978 “Moby Dick” Porsche 935/78 Le Mans racer.

7. Defender Dakar

The Defender Dakar is a limited-production, road-legal version of Land Rover’s class-winning Defender D7X-R competition truck. Production is strictly capped at fewer than 500 units globally.

8. Koenigsegg CCGT1

The CC850-based CCGT1 is the spiritual successor and road-legal modern tribute to the original, one-off 2007 CCGT GT1 racing prototype that never got its chance to compete. All 70 examples of the planned CCGT1 run were claimed by the time of the reveal.

9. McLaren McL 6GT

The limited-edition McLaren McL 6GT supercar is the brand’s first three-pedal car since the legendary F1 went out of production in 1998. Production is capped strictly at roughly 500 units worldwide, with each expected to start around $1.5 million.
