Aston Martin Unveils New DBX GT With Ultra-Luxury Cabin and 193-MPH Top Speed
Aston Martin expands its flagship SUV lineup with the 717-hp DBX GT. It trades the aggressive carbon aerodynamics of the DBX S for sleek body-colored trim and horizontal quad exhausts.
Aston Martin has expanded its flagship luxury SUV lineup with the introduction of the new DBX GT. Positioned as the ultra-refined sibling to the performance-focused DBX S, this new derivative “blends ultra-luxury craftsmanship, refined comfort and effortless performance.”
While sharing the supercar-like performance of its “S”-badged sibling, the all-new DBX GT trades the raw, motorsport-inspired aggression of the DBX S for an understated, elegant aesthetic that prioritizes visual purity and quiet luxury.
Up front, the DBX GT swaps the DBX S’s aggressive honeycomb mesh grille and exposed aero winglets for a double-vane grille featuring horizontal bars in bright chrome, flanked by horizontal LED daytime running lights.
Furthermore, the DBX GT eliminates the more aggressive lower bumper treatment and race-derived carbon splitter in favour of a fully body-coloured front bumper intake. Additionally, watchmaking-inspired two-piece side strakes replaces the S badging found on the DBX S.
At the rear, the DBX GT adopts horizontally arranged quad exhaust tips positioned side-by-side within a body-coloured rear diffuser. This replaces the vertically stacked quad exhaust pipes found on the performance-focused DBX S.
Inside, the GT cabin emphasizes serene long-distance cruising, with a 13 percent improvement in the Articulation Index, making it easier to hold a conversation while on the move—whether chatting with passengers, making a telephone call, or enjoying the Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
Under the bonnet is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 717-horsepower and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. Like the DBX S, the powertrain propels the DBX GT from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h).
“The challenge with DBX GT was achieving meaningful improvements in comfort and refinement in everyday use cases, but keeping the same class-leading reserves of performance and handling we have achieved with the DBX S,” said Aston Martin Chief Technology Officer Ian Hoban.
Global customer deliveries for the new Aston Martin DBX GT are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026. Pricing has yet to be revealed, but the all-new Aston Martin Grand Touring SUV is expected to cost around £210,000 (roughly $278,000).
