1,065-hp Valhalla Spider Debuts As Aston Martin’s Fastest Open-top Supercar With 350 km/h Top Speed

Ahead of its global debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, Aston Martin has unveiled the new Valhalla Spider, an open-top version of the British luxury marque’s mid-engined plug-in hybrid supercar, which was introduced earlier this year.
The new Valhalla Spider combines roof-off driving with the performance capabilities of the Valhalla Coupé. It is the British automaker’s first mid-engined open-cockpit production supercar and its fastest open-top model.

To manage airflow around occupants during open-top driving, the Valhalla Spider gets a dedicated wind deflector and a taller, reprofiled engine-intake snorkel, while revised active aerodynamics help maintain balance in both roof-on and roof-off configurations.

Like the Coupé, the Valhalla Spider features a 1,079 PS (1,065 hp) hybrid powertrain that combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three electric motors. It allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds and reach the same electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) as the Coupé, despite losing its fixed roof.
The Spider retains the Coupé’s carbon-fibre structure and distinctive dihedral doors for easy entry and exit, while gaining standard carbon-fibre Touring Seats designed to improve comfort and accessibility. However, Aston Martin noted that the original carbon-fibre seats from the Valhalla Coupé can be retained at no additional cost.

“Valhalla Coupe broke so much new ground. Our first production mid-engined supercar. Our first plug-in hybrid…Valhalla Spider builds on those impressive ‘firsts’,” Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark said of the brand’s latest open-cockpit supercar.
Pricing has not been announced, but several automotive publications estimate that prices will start between $1,100,000 and $1,600,000, representing a premium over the Coupé’s $1,051,000 starting price. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
