Toyota GR GT, GR GT3 And Lexus LFA Concept Set For European Debut At Goodwood Festival Of Speed

Lexus LFA Concept, GR GT and GR GT3 to make European debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. 

The Japanese brand will display three sports cars in the Supercar Paddock allowing visitors to have their first close-up view.

Additionally, uncamouflaged GR GT and GR GT3 will also be in action at the festival, with speed runs on the famous hill climb.

Lexus and Toyota’s high-performance brand, Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR), will present three striking new sports cars at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed under the theme ‘The Rivals – Epic Racing Duels’.

At the event—scheduled to take place from 9 to 12 July—the all-new Lexus LFA Concept sports car will make its stunning European debut alongside the new GR GT road car and the new GR GT-based FIA GT3-spec race car.

To allow visitors to get their first close-up view, the Japanese brand will display all three sports cars in the Supercar Paddock. Additionally, the uncamouflaged GR GT and GR GT3 will be in action at the festival, performing speed runs on the famous hillclimb.

The GR GT and GR GT3 are Toyota Gazoo Racing’s upcoming flagship sports cars featuring an all-aluminum body frame and a 4.0-liter, V8 twin-turbo engine. While the GR GT serves as the road-going flagship, the GT3-spec race car is engineered for all customers who want to win races.

The LFA Concept—also based on the all-aluminum body frame of the GR GT and GR GT3—inherits the Lexus LFA’s sculptural beauty while exploring the potential that is unique to BEVs.

Also at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, TOYOTA RACING will display its #7 TR010 HYBRID Hypercar that recently achieved Toyota’s sixth victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours, driven by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Nyck de Vries.
