Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso Concept Debuts With 2+2 Coupé Design, 2.9L V6 Full-Hybrid Powertrain

Alfa Romeo has officially taken the wraps off the breathtaking Cuorerosso Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, offering a glimpse into the Italian automaker’s future design direction and approach to electrification.
The striking red concept, whose name combines the Italian words for “heart” and “red,” combines sporty proportions with advanced technology, serving as a manifesto for future Alfa Romeo models rather than a preview of a specific production car.

Measuring 4,700 mm long, 1,980 mm wide and 1,331 mm tall, with a 2,930 mm wheelbase, the Cuorerosso adopts a low-slung 2+2 coupé silhouette, blending the proportions of a grand tourer with the dramatic presence of a supercar.
It is finished in Liquid Ink Red paint designed to shift visually between vivid red and darker tones depending on the light. The concept features an updated interpretation of Alfa Romeo’s signature Scudetto grille at the front, while the rear incorporates a Scudetto-shaped window and two circular lights.

Inside, the cabin combines premium nubuck upholstery, metallic finishes, four individual seats, a driver-focused dashboard and an innovative instrument display that can switch between two configurations.
The Cuorerosso features a 2.9-litre V6 engine paired with a full-hybrid system, Q4 all-wheel drive, a torque converter and a carbon-fibre driveshaft. The concept also previews Alfa Romeo’s multi-energy strategy, with future models expected to offer fully electric, plug-in hybrid, mild-hybrid and full-hybrid powertrain options.

While engine output, acceleration, top speed and any production timeline remain unannounced, Alfa Romeo says the Cuorerosso will inspire future models as the brand adapts to electrification without abandoning its sporting identity.
“Alfa Romeo has always created cars that are capable not only of moving people, but of arousing something within them. It is this human-machine connection, fueled by a unique culture of the Italian spirit, sportiness and passion, which makes each of our cars an Alfa Romeo,” Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo and Maserati CEO, stated.
