Is OGB Recent’s “Mansory Lamborghini Urus” Genuine? Auto Spotters Raise Questions

Barely a month after splashing out millions on a custom “Mansory” Lamborghini Urus, Nigerian content creator Michael Charles, popularly known as OGB Recent, has been spotted behind the wheel of his latest acquisition on the streets of Lagos.
While widely celebrated as a multi-hundred-million-naira super-SUV purchase, keen-eyed auto spotters have quickly begun calling out its questionable details, particularly the front bumper and front splitter.

Unlike authentic Mansory Venatus conversions, which feature razor-sharp forged carbon-fibre aero blades, this Lamborghini Urus appears to display thick, poorly aligned body panels with heavy moulded edges.
A closer look at the bonnet reveals further discrepancies. Genuine Mansory builds utilise distinct carbon-fibre power domes with functional heat-extraction vents, whereas this “Mansory” car retains standard factory lines fitted with basic aftermarket overlays.

The two-tone grey and lime-green finish mimics iconic Mansory colour schemes, but the aftermarket styling raises red flags. Also, the lime-green wheel-arch extensions lack the precise fitment expected from high-end German tuning houses.
The front grille’s centre badge has also drawn heavy criticism online, with many pointing out that the custom “M” emblem looks disproportionate and crudely affixed compared with the precision-milled aluminium or moulded carbon-fibre badges found on original builds.

These glaring inconsistencies, alongside the less-than-impressive cabin, have led car spotters to question whether OGB’s Urus is an authentic Mansory build. Skeptics also argue that beneath the aftermarket body kit lies either a standard Lamborghini Urus or a completely different base vehicle, specifically an Audi.
While the debate over the authenticity of its Mansory conversion continues, the viral vehicle remains recognisable as a Lamborghini Urus, the luxury SUV that helped popularise the super-SUV segment. Depending on the variant, the Urus is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
