The all-new Lexus LFA Concept sports car has made its stunning debut alongside the new GR GT road-legal race car and new GR GT-based FIA GT3-spec race car from the Japanese company’s new Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) brand.
Unlike the legendary ICE-powered Lexus LFA from the 90s which it takes motorsport inspiration from, the LFA Concept is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) sports car concept model – a fact unknown when the exterior and interior were first revealed as the “Lexus Sport Concept” at Monterey Car Week 2025.

“Not bound to vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, ‘LFA’ is a model name that symbolizes a vehicle model that embodies the technologies that engineers of its time should preserve and pass on to the next generation,” Lexus said in its press release.

Like the GR GT and GR GT3 that is shared core technologies with, the Lexus LFA Concept is centered on the ‘low center of gravity’, ‘low weight with high rigidity’, and the ‘pursuit of aerodynamic performance’.
Based on the all-aluminum body frame of the GR GT and GR GT3, the LFA Concept inherits the Lexus LFA’s sculptural beauty while exploring the potential that is unique to BEVs.

Inside, it features the same ideal driving position as the GR GT and GR GT3, the ultimately immersive cockpit enhances the sense of car-driver unity to deliver unprecedented driving pleasure.
Lexus is yet to reveal its performance figures, but it did say that the LFA Concept measures 185.6 inches long (4,690 millimeters), 80.3 inches wide (2,040 mm), and it has a wheelbase of 107.3 inches (2,725 mm).
