Saudi Crown Prince Launches CEER EXOBOT Sedan & SUV As Brand’s First Flagship EVs

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has officially launched the EXOBOT electric sedan and SUV, the flagship electric vehicles from CEER, Saudi Arabia’s national automotive company, as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to establish itself as a player in the global automotive industry.

Unveiled as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, CEER’s EXOBOT electric sedan and SUV are designed and engineered locally. Both vehicles serve as the premier models of a planned portfolio of seven all-electric vehicles scheduled for launch over the next five years.

“The launch of CEER’s first vehicles represents another step forward in Saudi Arabia’s progression to build a sustainable and prosperous industrial ecosystem,” His Royal Highness said during the unveiling of the flagship vehicles on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Positioned as the performance-focused model, the EXOBOT sedan can produce up to 850 hp, accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds, and deliver up to 670 kilometres (416 miles) of driving range under the NEDC testing cycle.

Meanwhile, the full-size EXOBOT electric SUV combines the practicality of a sport utility vehicle with strong electric performance. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, while its claimed range stands at up to 560 km (348 miles) under the NEDC cycle.

CEER is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and technology company Foxconn. By 2034, the joint venture is projected to contribute over SAR 30 billion ($8 billion) to Saudi Arabia’s GDP and generate an estimated SAR 80 billion ($21 billion) net gain for the national trade balance.

“It further enables the automotive sector as a key driver of economic growth, through attracting investments, empowering national talent, and expanding the private sector’s role to further position Saudi Arabia to become a leading regional and global hub for this industry,” he added.
