Inside Andrew Tate’s Bugatti Chiron With Custom “Tate” Headrests, Which He Claimed Was Rented
Last month, Andrew Tate’s legal team revealed in court filings that the supercars he flaunted online, including a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, were rented rather than personally owned. The admission led some critics to claim that it exposed a fake lifestyle he had portrayed online.
In a court filing, his lawyers said: “Andrew and Tristan are social media personalities. Their business model depends on online attention.”
“The more hyperbolic and outlandish the post, the more likely it will generate views and likes, which in turn generates income. In short, they are playing a role.”
While the filing hints at a calculated legal strategy to prevent governments from permanently seizing Tate’s personal wealth, including his prized Chiron, the bespoke interior layout points to features believed to have been ordered by Tate.
In a video seen by Autojosh, the headrests of the track-focused sport seats can be seen embroidered with the name “Tate”—a factory-level detail that convinced fans the vehicle belonged to him, making the defence lawyers’ rental admission even more shocking.
Because the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport was limited to a highly exclusive run of just 60 units worldwide, Tate’s car features a custom metal plaque identifying this exact custom-spec build as unit number 18 of 60.
While the limited-run Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport starts at $3.4 million, the former kickboxer and controversial social media personality revealed that he splashed €3,977,005 (then approximately $4,512,000) on the car when announcing the purchase in late December 2021.
The cabin also boasts vibrant copper and crimson-red accent stitching, as well as custom-coloured threads along the centre console and door cards, matching the Chiron’s exterior “Badman Copper” identity.
Though his lawyers’ admission contrasts with years of social media boasting, the four-time world kickboxing champion previously claimed on podcasts that he intentionally avoids keeping assets in his own name to shield them from government seizure.
