Porsche has retained its position as the world’s most valuable luxury and premium brand for a ninth consecutive year, according to Brand Finance’s 2026 Luxury & Premium 50 ranking, which covers leading brands across several luxury industries.

Despite its brand value falling 15 percent to USD 35.2 billion in 2026, the Volkswagen-owned German luxury sports car maker remained ahead of every other brand in the overall luxury and premium ranking, extending its remarkable run at the top.

Under CEO Michael Leiters, the brand is now focused on restructuring its operations and strengthening its long-term competitiveness. Porsche earlier this month sold its stake in Bugatti as part of efforts to cut costs and streamline its operations.

Following Porsche in the Brand Finance Luxury & Premium rankings are Ferrari and Lamborghini, respectively, two major automotive names and Italian brands that have maintained a strong presence in previous editions of the ranking.

Other prestigious automotive marques featured in the rankings include Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maserati and Aston Martin. Their inclusion reflects the continued importance of luxury automobiles within the wider global premium-brand market.

Brand Finance also highlighted French performance marque Alpine as a brand to watch in 2026. Alpine increased its brand value by 33 percent to USD 1.1 billion, supported by increased Formula One visibility, product expansion and investment in electrification.

British luxury marque Jaguar was also identified as a brand to watch ahead of the launch of its all-electric Type 01. The 2026 findings show how luxury carmakers are navigating changing consumer expectations while protecting the exclusivity and heritage that underpin their global brand value.
