Burna Boy’s ₦9 Billion Bugatti Chiron VXX: The Making By Venuum

Dubai-based luxury car customization company Venuum has shared photos and video detailing how an already extraordinary Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport was transformed into a dramatic one-off masterpiece dubbed the Chiron VXX Special Edition.
Described as the “world’s first widebody Bugatti Chiron,” the Venuum-branded Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition, reportedly valued at about ₦9 billion, was created for Nigerian-born music star Burna Boy, who gifted it to himself for his birthday.

To create its aggressive appearance, Venuum added bespoke carbon-fibre components that dramatically broaden the hypercar’s stance. Another highlight includes the number “7” on the front radiator grille, which replaces the number “16” that stands for the car’s signature 16-cylinder W16 engine.
Autojosh understands that the number represents the evolution of his identity into “Big 7”—his major hit single released in July 2023—and marks a major milestone in his career after he became the first African artist to secure seven entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Bugatti Chiron before & after. Photos and videos of the process. FROM CHIRON TO VXX. There’s something incredible about seeing the transformation side by side,” Venuum wrote in its caption.
Additionally, a massive carbon-fibre rear wing now dominates the back of the car. To make it immediately clear that this is no ordinary Bugatti Chiron, bespoke “Burna Boy” graphics were incorporated into the design.

Speaking about the creation of the stunning one-off Venuum Chiron VXX Special Edition, the customization company explained how it transformed the Chiron’s original elegant design.
“We wanted to give the car a much more aggressive presence. Wider proportions, stronger aerodynamics, sharper details and a completely new attitude — while preserving the unmistakable identity of the original machine.”

Venuum specializes in modifying luxury vehicles with bespoke body kits, so Burna Boy’s One-of-a-kind car is still powered by a 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine with 1500-hp. The VXX can do the 0-60 mph run in just 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 261 mph.
The behind-the-scenes photos and video showcasing the development of the car come six weeks after Abuja Car CEO Sadiq Aminu announced the arrival of Burna Boy’s custom Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition at the company’s showroom.
