Lamborghini Teases Track-focused Urus SE Performante Ahead Of July 1st Reveal
Automobili Lamborghini teases what is believed to be track-focused Urus SE Performante ahead of July 1st reveal.
A lone teaser image shows the rear end of a lime-colored Urus with a prominent spoiler, low-profile wing that extends from the roofline.
Forthcoming Urus expected to utilize the Urus SE’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which is paired with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor.
It is expected to feature a power boost, new aerodynamic upgrades and higher performance than the standard 789-hp Urus SE.

Another variant of Lamborghini’s already impressive and record-setting Super SUV is set to make its public debut on Wednesday, July 1, with many automotive blogs speculating it to be the track-focused Urus SE Performante.
A lone teaser image of the upcoming model, posted to Lamborghini’s social media channels, shows the rear end of a lime-colored Urus. It features a prominent spoiler alongside a low-profile wing that extends from the SUV’s roofline.
“A new chapter is taking shape. Join us live on lamborghini.com and YouTube. July 1st. Save the Date,” the company wrote on Twitter.
While it is still difficult to tell exactly what the upcoming Lamborghini SUV will look like, spy cameras have captured heavily camouflaged Urus prototypes undergoing testing, including track runs at the Nürburgring.
Since Lamborghini has promised to stick with hybrid powertrains, we expect the forthcoming Urus to utilize the Urus SE’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is paired with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor.
In the Urus SE, the plug-in hybrid system churns out 789 hp, allowing the vehicle to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0–62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph).
As a high-performance variant, the Urus SE Performante is expected to feature a power boost and new aerodynamic upgrades, delivering faster acceleration and a higher top speed than the standard 789-hp Urus SE.
