$554,000 Chinese-made Armored Hongqi LS7 SUV Unveiled At SPIEF In Russia
Armored Hongqi LS7, which starts at $554k, unveiled at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
According to the Russian News Agency, Tass, the Hongqi LS7 Crossover SUV can appear in the Russian market in 2025.
The flagship armored Hongqi LS7 was developed for senior officials of the Communist Party of China.
The premium armored LS7 Crossover SUV uses a 4-liter engine, which puts out 360 horsepower.

Hongqi, the Chinese premium brand, presented its armored Hongqi LS7 Crossover luxury SUV at the just concluded 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) held in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The Chinese brand entered the Russian market in 2023 and according to the Russian News Agency, Tass, the Hongqi LS7 can appear in the Russian market in 2025.


“This vehicle was developed for senior officials of the Communist Party of China. It undergoes certification in Russia now. It costs 50 mln rubles ($554,400) in China,” Sales Manager of the Avangard Dealership Bogdan Larionov told TASS.
“This is the premium armored crossover Hongqi LS7 with the 4-liter engine. The engine power is 360 HP. The premium sedan H9 with the two-liter engine is also presented.”

Cars from Hongqi was the official cars of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Roscongress Foundation, the forum’s organizer, said in a press release ahead of the event.
“During all the days of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) speakers and partners will be traveling by cars of the premium brand from China – Hongqi,” the statement says.


“The new official vehicle of the Forum will help ensure the necessary level of quality in terms of convenience, comfort and safety for the high-ranking guests and participants of SPIEF 2024.”
The Hongqi brand is officially represented in 28 countries, including Bahrain, Germany, Denmark, Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Russia.
