Bugatti has revealed the breathtaking cabin of its limited-edition Bolide – an interior which draws inspiration from the high-level world of motorsport and created specifically for Bugatti’s track-only hyper sports car.
According to Bugatti, the Bolide shares no parts with the outgoing Chiron family, including its race-inspired cabin, which sports an optimized racing seats and a high-tech steering wheel.
While its X-shaped taillights is the most instantly visible part on the exterior, the detachable steering wheel with its ‘X-theme’ structure is the most focal point once inside the Bolide.
Bugatti notes that drivers has the option to engage with one of two Bolide display interfaces. The first offers test-drivers motorsport values, while the second shows essentials needed by customers, including the impact of G-forces.
The ‘X-theme’ treatment is also embedded within the multi-pad-design of the seats. According to Bugatti, four seating size options are available – all of which cocoon the driver seamlessly within the interior of the Bolide.
“Bugatti prides itself on striving for perfection on every level within the ongoing creation of its performance-defining hyper sports cars. This uncompromising approach has also been applied to our track-only car, the Bolide, for which we’ve created a very special bespoke interior and unique driving experience, that will leave an everlasting impression on every driver,” says Christophe Piochon, the President Of Bugatti Automobiles.
Still powering the Bolide is the 8.0-liter W16 engine that also powered the outgoing Chiron. For Bolide, the uprated W16 engine produces 1,824 horsepower and allows 0-60 mph in 2.2 seconds, and a top-speed ‘well above’ 310 mph (498 km/h).
Starting at approximately €4 million excluding taxes, production of the sold-out Bugatti Bolide is limited to 40 units globally. First customers deliveries will start in 2024.
