Kenyan Performs Tom Cruise’s Stunt By Grabbing Onto To Landing Skids Of A Helicopter During Takeoff

Moment over excited Kenyan grabbed onto to landing skids of a helicopter carrying guests during takeoff.

The man was seen hanging on for dear life like a scene from Tom Cruise’s move Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Fortunately, the helicopter pilot, who was later alerted, made an emergency landing on a nearby farm to offload him.

The man was later seen being carried and praised by fellow villagers, who welcomed him back like a hero.

An over excited local man in Migori County, a town in Kenya, did the unthinkable last week after grabbing onto the landing skids of a helicopter as it took off to carry wedding guests back to their destination in the capital city of Nairobi.

The dramatic incident reportedly follows the wedding celebration of a renowned Kenyan musician, Evance Ochieng’, popularly known as Prince Indah, and his partner, Winnie Nyar, which took place on Sunday, April 13.

In a video shared on Instagram by Zack Opondo, the Migori man is seen standing next to the soon-to-depart chopper, seemingly talking its occupants, forcing a security guard to pull him away from the helipad.

But, soon after the helicopter took off, the man quickly grabbed onto the helicopter landing skid for the start of his short flight, which saw him hang on for dear life like a scene from Tom Cruise’s move Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Fortunately, the helicopter pilot was later alerted about the man who was caught on camera dangling from the helicopter. The pilot later made an emergency landing on a nearby farm to offload him.

The short clip ends showing the man being carried and praised enthusiastically by fellow villagers who welcomed him back like a hero.

“My In Laws from Migori i understand your excitement seeing choppers land in your village ?. But don’t risk your lives,” Zack Opondo wrote in his caption.

”We came from Siaya Kababa to pay dowry for your Sister Winnie. Choppers are normal mode of Transport in Siaya. Don’t be over excited ?. Congratulations Prince Indah and Winnie ♥️??….”
