Kuwait Arrests Driver For Reckless Stunts, Forces Him To Watch His Car Get Crushed, Flattened Into Scrap Metal

Kuwaiti security authorities have taken zero-tolerance enforcement to a whole new level after impounding and publicly crushing a vintage white Datsun 280Z/ZX sports Coupé belonging to a motorist arrested for reckless drifting on a public road.
The dramatic incident unfolded after a viral video surfaced across social media platforms. The clip showed the driver performing dangerous high-speed drifts and reckless stunts on a busy public road, sparking massive outrage among netizens.

Following intensive investigations, Kuwaiti security personnel successfully tracked down the offender, placed him under arrest, and transferred him directly to the Central Prison to face swift legal action.

The legal foundation for the arrest and vehicle destruction relies directly on Article 33 bis of Kuwait’s traffic legislation, which carries jail terms, heavy fines, and grants courts authority to permanently confiscate and destroy offending vehicles.
To send an unmistakable message to potential offenders, officials forced the motorist to watch his vehicle get crushed by an excavator, after which it was loaded into heavy scrapyard machinery and completely flattened into scrap metal.

In an official public declaration emphasizing that strict consequences await anyone attempting similar stunts, the Ministry of Interior added:
“The department strictly emphasizes that under Article 33 bis of traffic law, it will not tolerate behavior threatening the safety of road users or putting property at risk. Extreme enforcement measures, including full vehicle destruction, will be applied to future cases without leniency.”
This high-profile disposal underscores Kuwait’s aggressive national campaign to completely eradicate illegal street drifting and curb dangerous motor behavior on public highways. A similar punishment was applied last December to two motorists, as seen in another video.
