Popular YouTuber, known for restoring damaged supercars, wants to rebuild this accidented Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport.

Chiron Pur Sport crashed by Miami-based former owner, Alex Gonzalez, known for his flamboyant posts on Instagram.

Due to the damage to its carbon-fiber shell, Bugatti has blocked sourcing parts for this Chiron Pur Sport hypercar.

Mat revealed that the only way to bring the hypercar back on the road is to get it shipped back to Bugatti home in France.

Mat Armstrong, a popular YouTuber known for restoring badly damaged supercars has announced plans to buy and rebuild a badly damaged 2021 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport that mets its end in Miami, Florida earlier in the year.

Now on online auction site, Copart, this purple Bugatti Chiron was formerly owned by 25-year old Alex Gonzalez, a Miami-based Cuban-born American investor, known for his flamboyant posts on Instagram.

After crashing the hypercar, Alex posted the wreck with a caption saying he’s alright, though the same can’t be said of the Chiron Pur Sport with a badly damaged front end and the deployed front airbags.

“A Bugatti Chiron was just crashed in Miami Florida and i had a phone call from ‪@fxalexg__‬​ (the owner) to come a see it before the car goes to auction,” he told his over 5 Million followers.

“This could be my chance to grab a ultra rare Bugatti at a bargain price, but things turned sour once Bugatti got involved,” Mat added, noting that Bugatti has blocked sourcing parts for the hypercar due to the damage to its carbon-fiber shell – the biggest expense, which is quite tricky to repair properly.

Despite the red flags, Mat is still thinking of purchasing this accidented Chiron Pur Sport for a chance to own his first-ever hypercar – a purchase he said may necessitate selling some of his priced cars.

With no way to get parts for this badly damaged Chiron Pur Sport from Bugatti dealerships, Mat also revealed that the only way to bring the hypercar back on the road is to get it shipped back to Bugatti home in France for a proper rebuild.

Designed to attack corners at high speed on winding roads or the racetrack, this Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is one of only 60 units produced, contributing to the overall run of 500 units for the Chiron in total.
