Abia businessman, Steven Ukpabi, gift INEC Returning Officer Prado SUV after LP’s Alex Otti was declared Governor-elect.

INEC Returning Officer in Abia had on Wednesday declared LP’s Alex Otti the winner of the state’s governorship election.

Nnannaya-Oti’s Toyota Land Cruiser Prado ‘luxury gift’ known simply as Toyota Prado in Nigeria cost around ₦60 million.

High-riding Prado is specially built to take on Nigeria’s toughest terrain. Inside, it comes with luxurious features.

Steven Ukpabi, an Abia State businessman, has rewarded Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer in the state, Professor Nnenna Nnannaya-Oti, with a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV for his outstanding performance in the just concluded gubernatorial election.

While sharing the news of the luxury car gift on his Facebook page on Thursday, Ukpabi also shared the pictures of Professor Nnenna Nnannaya-Oti and the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV she is set to take ownership of.

He wrote :

“For your outstanding service to the people of Abia, I hereby request for this Prado to be delivered to Mrs Nnenna Oti immediately it arrives Nigeria next month.

“Thank you for your service in Abia.”

Oti had on Wednesday declared the Labour Party governorship candidate in Abia state, Alex Otti, as the winner of the state’s governorship election held on Saturday, March 18.

According to the Returning Officer, the Labour Party candidate scored a total of 175,467 votes to beat the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Okey Ahiwe, who scored a total of 88,529 votes.
