Nord launches ‘Tavet Motion’ Electric Vehicle Brand, unveils three models into the Nigerian Market.
At the launch event, Tavet Motion unveiled Luto : a compact city car, Garent : a luxury sedan and Vant : a logistics van.

Lagos-based Nigerian automaker, Nord Automobiles Limited, has unveiled Tavet Motion, an Electric Vehicle brand that will focus on the assembly, manufacture, sales and aftersales of Made-in-Nigeria electric vehicles (EVs).
At the unveiling event at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos on Thursday November 6th, Tavet Motion launched three new models into the Nigerian market — Luto : a compact city car, Garent : a luxury sedan and Vant : a logistics van.

Built for businesses, Tavet described the VANT as an electric logistics van built with a payload of up to 1440 kilograms and a massive cargo volume of 2.8m length.
Its battery-pack allows up to 305 kilometers (190 miles) range per charge while a fast charger allows a 20 percent to 80 percent charging in just 45 minutes.
The 4-door Luto compact electric sedan is designed for city life with up to 200 kilometres (124 miles) per charge. It comes with driver/passenger air bags, reversing camera, ABS, Hill Start Assist among others.

The most impressive of the three is the Garent luxury sedan with up to 1,200 kilometres (746 miles) per charge. Described as “the electric sedan that looks like money and moves like lightning”, Garent boasts a 15.6 inch centre display and a 8.8 inch instrument cluster.
Like the Internal Combustion Engined (ICE) models from Nord, these three all-electric models from Tavet brand will be assembled in Nigeria at Nord’s production plants in Lagos.
