Flagship S-Class and G-Class models, including the Electric G-Wagon, powers Mercedes-Benz to strong Q4 2024 sales.

Sales of Top-End Mercedes-Benz vehicles grew by 34 percent quarter-on-quarter to 82,800 units in Q4 2024.

Full-year Top-End sales reached 281,500 units, mainly impacted by market conditions in China, model changes and weak EV demand.





Full-year Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans reached 2,389,000 vehicles, with the brand achieving its best quarter in Q4 with the sales of 625,800 vehicles.

Sales of Top-End Mercedes-Benz vehicles grew by 34% quarter-on-quarter to 82,800 units in Q4 2024 despite a decline in the full-year sales, which reached 281,500 units, mainly impacted by market conditions in China, model changes and weak EV demand.

According to the German luxury carmaker, sales of Top-End vehicles in Q4 2024 was driven by the Mercedes-AMG GT and Mercedes-AMG GLC models as well as the S-Class and G-Class, thanks to solid demand in the United States in particular.

During the period, the iconic G-Class SUV priced from $149,000 achieved its best-ever sales quarter after new model launches, including the all-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology (all-new electric G-Class), which celebrated its world premiere in April 2024.





“We finished the year with a strong sales quarter, especially with our Top-End vehicles and the G-Class in particular,” Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Marketing & Sales.

 

First deliveries of the new electric G-Class started in September while Mercedes-Maybach presented its sportiest model, the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, in August – both marking some of the highlights in 2024.

Full-year Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans reached 2,389,000 vehicles, with the brand achieving its best quarter of the year in the October to December period with the sales of 625,800 vehicles.
