Drivers Of Mercedes Electric Cars Can Now Use Tesla Supercharger Network Across The U.S, Canada

Drivers of Mercedes EVs can use Tesla Supercharger Network across the U.S and Canada, starting from February 2025.
Mercedes said approved NACS to CCS1 DC fast charging adapter will be available for purchase at authorized dealerships for $185.
The move will allow Mercedes battery electric vehicle’s drivers to enjoy “Plug & Charge” functionality at Tesla Superchargers.
Mercedes-Benz says it will begin integrating NACS ports in its new electric vehicle lineup in North America starting in 2025.
Mercedes-Benz USA has announced that drivers of Mercedes battery electric vehicles (BEVs) will be able to charge at over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across the United States and Canada, starting February 2025.
To allow existing Mercedes vehicles to charge at Tesla’s Supercharger network, the company said an approved NACS to CCS1 DC fast charging adapter will be available for purchase in Q1 2025 at authorized Mercedes dealerships in the US for $185.
Mercedes says its BEV drivers will be able to enjoy “Plug & Charge” functionality at Tesla Superchargers, which automatically starts the charging session upon plugin and seamlessly processes payments in the background when charging ends.
“By opening access to Tesla Superchargers in North America to our customers, we underline our commitment to providing our customers with as many charging options as possible,” said Franz Reiner, Chairman of the Board of Management, Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG.
“The fast-growing network of charging points available in Mercedes me Charge will now expand to over 110,000 public charging points across the United States and Canada, providing Mercedes-Benz drivers with an industry-leading charging experience whenever and wherever they choose to charge.”
To ensure future Mercedes models connect directly to any NACS DC fast charging point without the need for an adapter, Mercedes says it will begin integrating NACS ports in its new electric vehicle lineup in North America starting in 2025.
