BYD’s YangWang U9 Electric Supercar skillfully jumps Over road spikes and potholes while self-driving.
U9 can also jump off the ground as well as drive effortlessly on three wheels – all made possible by the DiSus-X.
Unveiled in february 2024, the $239k YangWang U9 comes with distinct C-shaped LED headlights and butterfly doors.
U9 high-performance supercar can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.36 seconds and reach a top speed of 309 km/h.
China’s BYD Auto has published another video to demonstrate its in-house developed active suspension system dubbed the “DiSus-X” on its premium brand’s Yangwang U9 (Ultimate 9) all-electric supercar.
In the video, the unmanned YangWang U9 was seen skillfully jumping over various obstacles including water-filled potholes and road spikes while self-driving along a test course at 120 km/h.

Other attention-grabbing features of the YangWang U9 electric supercar includes its ability to jump off the ground as well as its ability to drive effortlessly on three wheels – all made possible by the DiSus-X.

First unveiled in february 2024, the RMB 1.68 million ($239,230) YangWang U9 comes with distinct C-shaped LED headlights, a LED taillight that spans the full width of the car and two sets of butterfly doors.
Equipped with the “Yisifang” tech for its quad motor setup, the U9 can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.36 seconds and reach a top speed of 309.19 km/h (192 miles per hour).
