Xiaomi SU7 Ultra production model is powered by two V8s and one V6s e-motors, delivering a combined power of 1,548 PS.

It allows it to reach 60 mph (100 km/h) in just 1.98 seconds and a maximum speed that can exceed 350 km/h.

Milestone lap comes four months after its official launch, with the flagship model starting price of $72,931.72.

A Xiaomi SU7 Ultra production model equipped with the optional track package has smashed the fastest four-door car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany, following its prototype’s impressive performance at the legendary track on October 28th 2024.

The record-breaking SU7 Ultra production model was able to lap the famous 12.8-mile (20.8 km) Green Hell in a new record time of 7 minutes 04.957 seconds, which trails the prototype’s time of 6 minutes 46.874 seconds – though the latter’s impressive feat doesn’t qualify for any production car records.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is powered by two V8s and one V6s e-motors. This powertrain delivers 1,548 PS, allowing it to reach 60 mph (100 km/h) in just 1.98 seconds, 124 mph (0-200 km/h) in only 5.96 seconds and a maximum speed that can exceed 350 km/h.

In addition to record-breaking lap, the Xiaomi EV brand also announced the addition of a new “Xiaomi Curve” to the Grand Prix track after becoming a premium partner of the Nürburgring.

“At the same time, Xiaomi EV is now a member of the Nürburgring’s test and development drives (commonly known as the Industry Pool)”, Xiaomi EV said in a statement.

This milestone lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife comes four months after the official launch of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, with the flagship model of the SU7 Series starting price of 529,900 yuan ($72,931.72).

To different itself from the base SU7, the SU7 Ultra features an oversized front splitter along with “U-shaped” air curtains to increase the downforce of the front of the car plus an enlarged air intake grille.
