Burna Boy has finally taken delivery of his custom Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition, a one-off Venuum-branded masterpiece commissioned by the Nigerian-born, Grammy Award-winning music star as a birthday gift to himself.
Following its arrival at the Abuja Car showroom in late July, which sparked massive attention online, the one-of-a-kind Chiron was transported from Abuja to Lagos on Saturday, September 19, 2026, according to a video shared by Sadiq Aminu, the CEO of Abuja Car.

“POV: Delivering the most expensive car in Africa. 🌍🏆 SOLD BY ABUJACAR. 🦍 WELCOME TO THE FUTURE,” Sadiq Aminu, the dealer behind what is believed to be the biggest automotive deal ever seen in West Africa, wrote in the caption.
Described as the “world’s first widebody Bugatti Chiron,” the Venuum-branded Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition is reportedly valued at about ₦9 billion, making it the most expensive car in Africa.

Based on the Chiron Pur Sport, the Venuum-branded Bugatti Chiron boasts bespoke touches customised to the tastes of the Grammy Award-winning artist, including “Burna Boy” graphics on its massive carbon-fibre rear wing.
Burna Boy’s Chiron VXX Special Edition is not only the most expensive car in Africa but also one of the fastest. Powered by an 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine producing 1,500 hp, the hypercar can accelerate from 0–60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of 261 mph.

The bespoke Bugatti now joins Burna Boy’s already impressive multi-billion-naira supercar collection, which includes a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Ferrari 812 GTS, McLaren Senna, and Lamborghini Revuelto.
The singer’s car collection also includes a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, a Ferrari Purosangue, a Lamborghini Urus, a Rolls-Royce Dawn, and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan—the latter two of which are fitted with diamond-encrusted bonnet ornaments.
