Hyundai Santa Fe Wins TopGear.com SUV Of The Year Award
The new Hyundai Santa Fe was named SUV of the Year at the TopGear.com Awards. The latest model in the Hyundai lineup has been awarded for its compelling combination of value, style, and versatility.
There’s also an impressive powertrain that features the 1.6-litre T-GDi Smartstream engine in two hybrid versions (two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive) and a plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive version. Hybrids provide 215 hp and 367 Nm of maximum torque, while the plug-in hybrid provides 253 hp and 367 Nm.
“The Santa Fe is a smart and sophisticated-looking car that fits into a variety of environments. It looks great in urban landscapes or parked next to radical architecture, but if you take it far outside the city, it will look tough, rugged, and ready for adventure. It achieves the things it needs to, and in terms of design, thoughtfulness, and versatility, no family car can rival it and deliver the same value for money,” said Ollie Marridge, Top Gear’s head of car testing.
The package is enhanced with a striking design. With a recognizable cube silhouette. A spacious interior focused on the customer. It is adapted to a range of outdoor and city activities. Fully folding second- and third-row seats provide class-leading interior space. A variety of high-tech, practical features contribute to its recognizable appeal in the combination of nature and city. It also comes with countless security features. Complete package of Hyundai Smart Sense advanced driver assistance systems.
