Throwback: When KC Luxury Boasted Of Being The Only Person In The World To Own Two Rare Mercedes-Maybachs
Videos and photos of Lagos socialite and luxury goods dealer Afolabi Kazeem Michael—widely known online as KC Luxury—have flooded social media timelines following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Before his high-profile arrest on the night of August 13, 2026, while reportedly trying to flee the country, KC frequently posted lavish videos displaying his massive car collection. His fleet featured high-end models from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Range Rover, and Mercedes-Maybach.
In a now-trending throwback clip, KC was seen bragging that he was the only person in Nigeria to own two ultra-rare Mercedes-Maybach S680 Virgil Abloh editions—each valued at roughly ₦800 million—including what he claimed to be Serial Number 001 out of the 150 units produced worldwide.
“I don’t think anybody has serial number 001 Maybach Virgil Ablohs. That aside. And I don’t think anybody has two Virgil Ablohs of the 150,” KC said in the throwback clip seen by AutoJosh.
Cubana Chief Priest also previously confirmed that KC purchased one of his S680 Virgil Abloh editions from a celebrity couple. While announcing a ₦150 million watch deal with KC, he stated:
“Dude Has The Number 1 Of 150 Of The @virgilabloh Mercedes Maybach, He Bought It From Legendary Couple @therealswizzz @aliciakeys.”
Priced from $500,000, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class by Virgil Abloh is an exclusive edition of the flagship Mercedes-Maybach S680. It distinguishes itself with a unique two-tone paint combination of glossy Obsidian Black and sand beige.
Other notable owners of the exclusive Mercedes-Maybach S-Class include Nigerian music star Davido, and American artistes Lil Baby and DJ Khaled. Another notable owner was Alicia Keys, who received the car as a gift from her husband, Swizz Beatz, before it was eventually purchased by KC.
Each of the 150 bespoke cars is delivered to its proud owner with a custom-made wooden box. This box contains a 1/18 scale replica of the limited-edition Maybach by Virgil Abloh, the two car keys, and a carabiner hook.
