The Most Affordable Electric Pickup Will Soon Be Available
The price of the electric pickup from the new American manufacturer Slate has been leaked, and it amounts to an extremely favorable 24,950 dollars or 21,800 euros.
It seems that someone forgot to check everything on the Slate pre-order site, because the price was posted with the following text:
– The Slate pick-up has all the essentials for a $24,950 price tag (reminder: we’re still under a non-disclosure agreement and are prohibited from sharing this).
The listed price is higher than what Slate originally promised, but the original sub-$20,000 price included incentives for electric cars that are no longer available in the US. Even so, the price is quite favourable.
The situation for the Slate is far from ideal, however, as Ford announces a low-cost electric pickup and more and more electric vehicles are available on the used market. Slate is a company that is a co-owner of Amazon. The small pickup will have rear-wheel drive and a range of approximately 250 km.
