Uzbekistan qualifies for first ever World Cup, all players And coaching staff rewarded with BYD-branded cars.
Car presentation follows Uzbekistan’s 3-0 victory over Qatar in their final group game on Tuesday June 10.
Uzbekistan already secured their place at the 2026 finals following a 0-0 draw with the United Arab Emirates on June 5th.

President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on Tuesday June 10, 2025 presented brand new cars to all players and coaching staff of the national football team after qualifying for next year’s 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Before their 3-0 victory over Qatar in their final group game on Tuesday June 10, the White Wolves had already secured their place at the 2026 finals following a 0-0 draw with the United Arab Emirates on June 5th.

At the final whistle, President Mirziyoyev, who attended the match, gave out awards and presented forty (40) brand new BYD-branded cars to all players and members of the national team’s coaching staff at the Bunyodkor stadium.
“They showed true courage and perseverance and our people realized that their dream comes true”, Mirziyoyev said.
“I am convinced that this historical achievement combines our people in the way of noble goals, a symbol of inspiration for thousands of young people, to further increase the international Uzbek prestige,” he added.
