ID.Unyx 08, An Electric SUV Jointly Developed By XPENG And VW, Rolls Off The Production Line
ID.Unyx 08, a all-electric full-size SUV jointly Developed by XPENG Motors And Volkswagen, rolls off the production line.
Developed in China for China, the ID.UNYX 08 is Volkswagen’s first fully connected, all-electric full-size SUV.
It is equipped with 800V technology, as well as L2 advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) capabilities.


The all-electric ID.Unyx 08 SUV, the first jointly developed model by XPENG Motors and Volkswagen, has officially rolled off the production at the Volkswagen Anhui plant in Hefei, just 24 months after the start of their cooperation.
Developed in “China for China”, the ID.Unyx 08 is Volkswagen’s first fully connected, all-electric full-size SUV. It is equipped with 800V technology, as well as L2 advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) capabilities and enables continuous technological evolution through over-the-air (OTA) updates.

This collaboration has resulted in the joint development of two all-electric models, including the ID.Unyx 08, set for market launch in the first half of this year and a second Volkswagen model that will also hit the market within this year.
