Lamborghini Driver Takes 1,000-hp Revuelto V12 Hybrid For A Track Testing

Lamborghini driver, Andrea Caldarelli, takes the $550,000 Revuelto V12 hybrid sports car for a track testing.

Caldarelli has won prestigious titles in the endurance category with Italian sports car brand, Lamborghini. 

Lamborghini Revuelto, the first super sports V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), boasts a 1015 CV powertrain. 

Revuelto hybrid super sports, now in full production, is expected to reach dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2023.

On the eve of the international dynamic debut, Lamborghini factory driver, Andrea Caldarelli, took the new Revuelto V12 hybrid sports car for a track testing at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi, a racing circuit in Vallelunga, Italy.

First unveiled in the brand’s 60th anniversary year, Revuelto is the first super sports V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV). It boasts a 1015 CV (1,001-horsepower) powertrain that combines the new V12 engine with three electric motors.

Caldarelli has won prestigious titles in the endurance category with Lamborghini, including the triple crown of the GT World Challenge Europe in 2019 and the 24 Hours of Daytona in the GTD category.

“The Revuelto is a truly extraordinary supercar,” commented Caldarelli, “which is capable of expressing uncommon power but also excellent drivability on the track.

“The contribution of active aerodynamics in cornering is extremely important, and the car is able to generate impressive downforce. In addition, the new dual-clutch gearbox makes it possible to engage gears with lightning speed and at the same time the Revuelto’s response is super smooth and easy to handle.”

The Revuelto hybrid super sports, now in full production, is expected to reach dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2023. Lamborghini hasn’t reveal the pricing of the new Revuelto in the U.S., but the outgoing Aventador replacement is priced from $550,000 in other markets.
