Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan was officially sworn in for a second term on Monday November 3rd during a ceremony held at a military base in the capital, Dodoma, amid tight security, following an election marred by violent protests.
Hassan took the oath of office during a ceremony closed to the public following the violence that erupted after being declared the winner of the October 29 election with almost 98 percent of the vote.

In a video seen by Autojosh, the new leader was seen arriving in style at the event in an armored Range Rover limousine sandwiched by several police motorcycle outriders, with two Range Rover SUVs for security and support following behind.
Stretched to provide more spacious rear cabin, Hassan’s car, likely a Range Rover Sentinel, is equipped with security features such as bulletproof protection and emergency communication systems.

Hassan first came to power as the 6th president of Tanzania back in May 2021, following the death in office of her predecessor, president John Magufuli.
The then 61 year old arrived in a Volvo V80 during her swearing in 2021, though she used Range Rover and Toyota Land Cruiser primarily as her official state cars finished in green paint during her first tenure as the president of Tanzania.
