Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) on Wednesday announced it sold a total of approximately 4.6 million (4,556,000 units) vehicles between April and September 2024, a decrease of approximately 188,000 units compared to the same period last year.
Net revenues for the period totaled $152.2 billion (+5.9%), operating income decreased from $18.2 billion to $16.1 billion, while income before income taxes was $17.9 billion.

Regions and markets
In North America, Toyota vehicle sales totaled approximately 1,348,000 units (-37,000 units) while sales in home country of Japan totaled approximately 939,000 vehicles (-133,000 units).
Sales reach a total of approximately 547,000 units in Europe, an increase of 10,000 units, while vehicle sales totaled approximately 905,000 units in Asia, an increase of 10,000 units.
In other regions, including Central and South America, Oceania, Africa, and the Middle East, vehicle sales totaled approximately 818,000 units, a decrease of 17,000 units.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, Toyota estimates a total vehicles sales of 9.40 million units and forecasts net revenue of $312.9B, operating income of $29.3B, income before income taxes of $33.9B, and net income of $24.3B.
