Two employees of a tuning company crashes a client’s Ferrari SF90 Stradale supercar worth $600,000.
The two employees claimed they were only driving 45-50 km/h when the accident happened.
The SF90 Stradale, with a total 1,000 horsepower, is the most powerful series-production Ferrari.
Two employees of an unnamed tuning company going for an adrenaline hit in a client’s Ferrari SF90 Stradale in Gütersloh, Germany has crashed the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle worth $600,000.
It’s unclear what really led to the crash, but “the men claimed they were only driving 45 – 50 km/h (28 mph – 31 mph) when the accident happened”, according Supercar.fails.
Luckily, both the driver and passenger escaped without serious injuries. Pictures taken at the crash scene also suggests that the SF90 Stradale will likely be back on the road some day.
The mid-engined SF90 is powered by a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 engine plus three electric motors, which churns out a total 1,000 horsepower, making it the most powerful series-production Ferrari.
Ferrari claims the SF90 Stradale (Type F173) will reach 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds, 0-124 mph in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).
As of 2020, the SF90 Stradale is the fastest Ferrari road car on their Fiorano Circuit — about seven tenths of a second faster than the LaFerrari.
