2023 Chevrolet Tahoe And Suburban Go Hands-Free With Super Cruise
2023 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban SUV go hands-free with GM’s self-driving system, called the Super Cruise.
The hands-free system is already available on the Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500.
Super Cruise works on more than 200,000 miles (321,869 km) of compatible roads in the United States and Canada.
It can handle acceleration, braking, and steering, meaning drivers only need to monitor the road ahead and be ready to takeover.
In addition to the Super Cruise, the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban also gains three new exterior colors, including the Silver Sage Metallic.
The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe And the Suburban has become the latest models to get the General Motor’s Super Cruise, a hands-free semi-autonomous driving system which has been exclusive to its luxury brand, the Cadillac.
GM’s Super Cruise system, set to be offered on the range-topping High Country and Premier trims, is already available on the Cadillac Escalade SUV, Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks, as well as a handful of other GM models.
The self-driving system can handle acceleration, braking, and steering, meaning drivers only need to monitor the road ahead and be ready to takeover control when required.
The industry’s first true hands-free driver-assistance system utilizes a driver attention system and precision LiDAR generated map data in addition to real-time cameras, sensors and GPS.
The autonomous system works on more than 200,000 miles (321,869 km) of compatible roads in the United States and Canada.
In addition to the Super Cruise, the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban also gains three new exterior colors known as Silver Sage Metallic, Sterling Grey Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.
Buyers of the LS, LT, RST and Premier trims can also opt for a new accessory black grille that features “Chevrolet” lettering.
