FG To Reward Best Two Teachers Nationwide With Cars, Schools With Buses To Celebrate Teachers’ Day
The Federal Government sets to reward the best two teachers nationwide with brand new Hyundai cars.
The best two Schools will also be rewarded with a bus each.
They also added that the best teacher in each of the 774 local government areas of the country with various gift.

The chief executive registrar of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Professor ‘Segun Ajiboye, gave the hint in an exclusive interview with Tribune Online that the federal government is set to reward the best two teachers in Nigeria with a brand new Hyundai car each.
He also added that the federal government came up with the initiative as a way of rewarding hard work and encouraging healthy competition among school teachers in both public and private sectors and will also be giving be best schools with a bus each.
In addition to this, he said that this gesture would also boost teachers’ morale and consequently lead to education and economic development of the country.
The teachers will receive the award in celebration of this year’s World Teachers’ Day which held today on Monday, October 5 in Abuja, the federal capital territory.
Also gave an account of how the establishment of TRCN has brought about a positive change in the regulate the practice of the teaching profession in the country.
He, however, urged all employers of teachers in both public and private schools and also the teachers themselves to ensure they always live up to their respective responsibilities so as to move to jointly move the education sector to greater heights.
