Angry Ex Mercedes Employee Uses Backhoe To Smash 50 V-Class Vans At Spanish Factory
An angry Ex Mercedes Employee who was sacked on Dec 31 uses backhoe to wreck (fifty) 50 V-Class vans at Spanish factory.
The 38 year old reportedly damaged properties worth more than $2.4m (N915 million).
The large upmarket Mercedes V-Class van is designed to carry passengers in comfort.
It starts at 29,000 Euros (N13.4 million, excluding local taxes in Nigeria)
An ex Mercedes-Benz employee has been arrested after using a backhoe to wreck fifty (50) V-Class vans at the company’s Vitoria, Spain assembly plant.
According to reports, the 38 year old, who was fired from work on the last day of the year 2020, reportedly damaged properties worth more than $2.4m (N915 million).
To achieve this massive destruction, the ex-employee used a stolen excavator to break through the factory gate. He then ram the backhoe through numerous V-Class vans parked in a parking lot.
Reports says the former worker had intended to break into robotic assembly line which would have paralyzed the manufacture of vans for weeks.
Mercedes spokesman stated :
‘Officers in Vitoria have arrested a person aged 38 who stole a JCB from one agency and smashed it into 50 parked automobiles in one other’
