Lamborghini looks back at its iconic few-offs, including the Reventón, Sesto Elemento and Sián FKP 37.

Other are the Veneno, Centenario and Countach LPI 800-4, which mark the 50th anniversary of the Countach LP500 prototype.

Italian sports car manufacturer is set to unveil a new limited-edition super sports car at the upcoming Monterey Car Week.

Reventón

Italian sports car manufacturer, Automobili Lamborghini, has looked back at some of its few-offs models that instantly earned iconic status, ahead of the unveiling of a new limited-edition super sports car at upcoming Monterey Car Week.

Lamborghini began the “few-off” concept with the unveiling of the Reventón at the 2007 Frankfurt International Motor Show, which boasts an aggressive lines and doors and limited to just 20 coupés and 15 roadsters.

Sesto Elemento

“It was a unique vehicle that, like those that followed it, helped to reinforce our marque’s exclusivity,” states Stephan Winkelmann, CEO and Chairman of Automobili Lamborghini.

Inspired by the F-15 fighter jet, the Lamborghini Reventon paved the way for other limited-edition models, including the Sesto Elemento, which had a V10 engine and was presented by Lamborghini in 2010.

Veneno

Limited to just 20, Sesto Element was followed by the presentation of the Veneno in 2013. Defined at its debut as ‘a track car built for the road’, the Veneno fully harnessed the mechanical potential of the Aventador and its V12 engine.

Centenario

Then comes the Centenario, which was created to celebrate the centenary of the birth of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini in 2016. Limited to just 40 (20 coupés and 20 roadsters) and fitted with equipped with a 770 CV version of Aventador V12 engine, the Centenario was the first Lamborghini with a central infotainment touchscreen.

Sián

Following the Centenario is the Sián FKP 37, made its debut at Geneva International Motor Show in 2019 as Lamborghini’s first vehicle with electrified powertrain. Sian boasts a signature Y-shaped front lights now seen on the all-new flagship Revuelto.

Countach LPI 800-4

Countach LPI 800-4

In 2021, Lamborghini presented the Countach LPI 800-4 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Countach LP500 prototype. Based on the hybrid architecture of the Sián, the all-new Countach LPI 800-4 boasts a photochromic roof – which can go from solid color to transparent with one simple command – and 3D-printed internal air vents.
