Jeep Set To Unveil Facelifted Grand Cherokee And Grand Wagoneer SUVs

During a press conference in Detroit, Jeep officials revealed that four new products will arrive in the next four months. These include the new Cherokee, the facelifted Grand Cherokee, and the all-new Recon, as well as the 2026 model year Grand Wagoneer.

The 2026 Grand Wagoneer is set to arrive this fall, adopting an all-new front end inspired by the Wagoneer S. It features a minimalist front fascia with seven vents and an integrated LED light bar. They are surrounded by thinner headlights that have horizontal daytime running lights.

The changes continue below with a sharper bumper, which features a larger air intake with linear accents.

Also mentioned is the Grand Wagoneer 4xe, a range-extended variant announced more than a year ago that is expected to use the same powertrain as the Ram 1500 Ramcharger. This means we can expect a 3.6-litre V6 engine, a four-wheel drive system with two motors, and a battery of around 92 kWh. This setup gives the pickup truck 494 kW/672 hp and 833 Nm of torque, as well as a range of up to 1,110 km.

For those not ready to embrace electrification, the Hurricane 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six should be offered.

Although the Grand Wagoneer hasn’t gotten off to a great start, Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf sounded optimistic about the future of their full-size SUVs. He also revealed that the standard Wagoneer will follow shortly after the flagship and hinted that there could be a bigger difference between the two models.
