Home And Office On Wheels : Xiaomi Unveils SkyNomad N70 Max, Flagship N90 Max “Reconfigurable” SUVs

Xiaomi on Thursday opened pre-orders for the SkyNomad Series, which the Chinese brand positioned as an “intelligent, reconfigurable, large-space SUV”, unlike its first automotive product—the SU7 and YU7 Series—positioned as “the driver’s car”.
Two variants of the SkyNomad Series are available at launch: the SkyNomad N70 Max, a five-seat AWD extended-range SUV priced at 259,900 yuan ($38,410), and the flagship SkyNomad N90 Max, a seven-seat extended-range SUV priced from 299,900 yuan ($44,320).

The Skynomad N70 offers dimensions of 4960 mm (L) × 1998 mm (W) × 1785 mm (H) and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. In comparison, the N90 Max has dimensions of 5285/1998/1825 mm and acwheelbase of 3,080 mm.

The SkyNomad Series features a highly configurable cabin with swiveling front seats and flat, rail-equipped floors. It introduces the Kunlun Platform, an innovative architecture that eliminates the fixed seat orientations and uneven, fold-flat surfaces found in traditional large SUVs.
Designed to meet the core needs of family vehicle ownership, Xiaomi’s SkyNomad Series boasts an SUV exterior wrapped around MPV-level interior volume—a configurable cabin that can be accessed through a smart electric doors and opened by touch or voice.

For easy entry and exit, the rear doors can open to nearly 90°. Inside, the N90 Series offers 2,760 mm of total occupant space across the vehicle, including a second-row legroom of up to 1,550 mm—enough to sit with legs fully stretched out.
In the “First-Class Mode”, owners can slide the second and third rows all the way back—instantly turning into a first-class cabin with room for even the longest legs. Alternatively, the second and third rows can be turned into a bed at the touch of a button—suited for a midday nap or a long rest.
