Truck Barriers To Be Constructed On Ojuelegba Bridge

The Lagos State Government says that truck barricades will be constructed on the Ojuelegba bridge to permanently put a solution to the reoccurring crashes caused by the movement of articulated vehicles.
The latest of such crashes on the Ojuelegba bridge happened of Sunday 29th January, 2023, when a truck conveying a 20ft container fell on top of a commercial bus at Ojuelegba, killing nine passengers.
While commiserating with the families who lost their loved ones in the Ojuelegba truck accident on Sunday, the State Government said it will ensure that the driver and the owner of the truck involved are put on trial for the needless death.
Kano Residents Hauled Stones At Buhari’s Helicopter, Convoy

Angry youths on Monday 30th January hauled stones at President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy and helicopter during his 2-day official visit to Kano State.
In video clips circulated on social media, youths were seen throwing stones at an NAF AgustaWestland AW101 helicopter believed to be conveying the President.
Recall that Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje earlier told President Buhari he couldn’t guarantee his safety in Kano ahead of his proposed visit.
INEOS Grenadier Partners With Coscharis Motors In Nigeria

INEOS Automotive has named Coscharis Motors as its official retail partner in Nigeria. Nigeria is now the sixth market in Sub-Sahara Africa to join the INEOS Automotive brand, following South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia and Botswana.
Commenting on this partnership, the President / CEO of Coscharis Group, Dr. Cosmas Maduka said:

The first INEOS Grenadier demonstrator vehicles are expected to arrive in Nigeria in early 2023 with customer deliveries expected to commence within the first quarter. All aftersales servicing will be conducted at a dedicated workshop also located in Lagos.
