$450,000 customized Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV spotted wearing a rare ‘AA8’ Dubai Number Plate worth $9.5 million.
First time ‘AA8’ has been spotted on a car since it was auctioned off last year during charity auction in Dubai.
Second most expensive plate AA9 sold to unnamed buyer for $10 million during a Most Noble Numbers charity event in 2021.
Most expensive plate ‘1’ sold to Saeed Abdul Ghaffar Khouri for $14 million in 2008 during a number plate auction in Dubai.
A customized Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV has been spotted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), wearing a rare Dubai Number Plate ‘AA8’ worth a staggering price of about US$9.5 million (AED35 million).
While a Cullinan costs over N600,000 million to own in Nigeria, this particular customized Rolls-Royce of SUVs will definitely cost over N800,000, judging by its distinct features, including the external bodykits and the paint finish.
This is the first time the ‘AA8’ custom plate has been spotted on a car since it was auctioned off for the staggering amount last year during the Most Noble Numbers charity auction in oil rich Dubai, in United Arab Emirates.
All the money raised from the auction went towards the 1 Billion Meals campaign, which aims to feed communities in more than 50 countries worldwide.
The auction comes nearly 11-months after an unnamed buyer paid a cool $10 million (Dh38 million) to own a rare Dubai Number Plate ‘AA9’ during a rare Most Noble Numbers charity event in May, 2021.
But these amounts still trails the earth-shattering prices which a collector, Saeed Abdul Ghaffar Khouri, paid to own the ‘1’, the most expensive number plate in the world.
The ‘1’ registration plate was sold to Saeed Abdul Ghaffar Khouri for Dh52 million ($14 million) in 2008 during a number plate auction by Emirates Auction Company.
